Convention between Denmark and Ghana on Double Taxation
The Government of the Kingdom of Denmark and the Government of the Republic of Ghana have signed the Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and Capital Gains
In relation to the Danish Minister for Trade and Development Cooperation’s visit to Ghana, the two countries have taken bilateral cooperation a step further, by signing a double taxation agreement.
The double taxation agreement will ensure that an international worker or company from either of the respective countries does not pay tax twice on the same income.
In addition, the removal of impediments that hinder movement of capital and goods will facilitate international trade and the flow of foreign direct investment.
