EY hosts FATCA breakfast seminars
EY is hosting two breakfast seminars this week to discuss how local businesses should be preparing for the next stages of FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) implementation – the identification of reportable accounts and the reporting process itself.
Led by Wendy Martin, Executive Tax Director at EY in the Channel Islands, the events will cover the latest updates on the imminent arrival of the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and review recent updates to local FATCA guidance and explain how businesses can take steps to reduce the burden.
The first seminar takes place at the Duke of Richmond in Guernsey on Thursday 5 February. To reserve a place, contact Sophie Lihou on 01481 717560 or email slihou@uk.ey.com.
The Jersey seminar takes place on Friday 6 February at the Royal Yacht Hotel. To reserve a place, contact Emma Marett on 01534 01534 288608 or by email emarett@uk.ey.com.
Both events start at 8.30am and finish at 9.45am.
