EY Malta to host a seminar on FATCA and OECD Common Reporting Standard
As a business leader, EY is proud to announce a seminar from its series of regulatory updates, aimed to keep stakeholders abreast of current changes in legislation.
The FATCA and OECD Common Reporting Standard (CRS) seminar will be held on October 20, 2015 at the Hilton, St Julian’s between 08:30 and 12:30hrs. The seminar is designed to deal with current issues related to running FATCA in a business as usual manner, outstanding implementation challenges and compliance issues.
“We will also share our views on the OECD Common Reporting Standard and issues connected to leveraging the efforts for FATCA and the Common Reporting Standard. The event should be of interest to risk, compliance, tax, and legal officers, program managers and other interested representatives of banks, insurance companies, funds, and other financial institutions, as well as holding companies and treasury centers,” Grace Camilleri EY executive director and leader for banking advisory services said.
The keynote speaker, Katrina Petrosovitch, is a partner with EMEIA Financial Services, EY Tax Consultants. She is an American and European trained tax attorney with over 15 years of experience in delivering exceptional tax services within the legal, consulting, and financial sectors in the U.S. and Europe.
The event is free of charge and has been accredited with 3.5 hours of structured CPE qualifying for the attainment of Core Competencies in terms of the Accountancy Board’s CPE Scheme and Accreditation Rules.
