UAE, South Africa sign taxation agreement
The Governments of the United Arab Emirates and Republic of South Africa have signed an agreement for the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and capital gains, and its annexed protocol.
Inked by Hamad Hareb Al Habsi, UAE Ambassador to South Africa, and Nhlanhla Nene, South Africa’s Minister of Finance, the agreement will go into force once approved by the competent authorities in both countries.
