Azerbaijan, Sweden eliminate double taxation
A Convention between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income was signed on Wednesday.
The Convention was signed by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallström.
The Swedish FM, who arrived in Baku Feb. 9, held a one-on-one meeting with her Azerbaijani counterpart. Then a meeting took place in an expanded format with the participation of the two countries’ delegations.
