Mauritius’s FATCA Filing Deadline July 31

The Mauritius Revenue Authority on June 11, 2018, warned those financial institutions required to report information on the accounts of US persons under the US Financial Account Tax Compliance Act that declarations are required by Jule 31, 2018.

The statement said: “FATCA information in respect of the year 2017 will have to be reported to the MRA by 31st July 2018 for onward transmission to the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The MRA informs financial institutions that the facility for FATCA Reporting for the year 2017 is available on MRA’s website: www.mra.mu.”
