Armenian and SlovakFMs sign agreement on ruling out double taxation
YEREVAN, 15 MAY, ARMENPRESS. On May 15, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan, who is on a working visit to Bratislava, met with Deputy Prime Minister of Slovakia, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Miroslav Lajčák. As the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, the ministers discussed a broad range of issues related to the bilateral relations, including the expansion of the juridical¬contractual field, the activation of trade and economic exchanges, as well as the steps to be taken to enhance cooperation in the energy and education sectors.
The items on the agenda of the negotiations were Armenia¬European Union relations and preparations for the summit to be held in Riga. Minister Nalbandyan presented Armenia’s and the OSCE Minsk Group Co¬Chairs’ efforts for the regulation of the Karabakh issue.
After the meeting, the Armenian and Slovak ministers signed an agreement on ruling out the double taxation of incomes and property between the two countries.
