Ukraine: plans on the working group on grain market at the Ministry of Finance
The FINANCIAL — The Ukrainian Grain Association appealed to Natalie Jaresko, Minister of Finance of Ukraine, with a proposal to create the special working group to solve the existing problems of grain exports, declared the press-service of the Association on August 13.
According to the announcement, to date there are observed a number of risks for the proper functioning of the grain market.
There were observed several cases of arrests of grain cargoes at sea vessels and in port terminals. Some unknown persons were engaged in purchasing of grains from agricultural producers and middlemen for cash, including foreign currency, which is illegal to date. There are constantly discussed the issues of possible cancellation of the VAT accumulation, and transfer of agrarians to the general system of taxation, etc. The UGA has some remarks to the developed mechanisms of transfer pricing, and many questions to the foreign currency rate fixing, etc., informed the press-service of the Association.
The UGA proposed to establish a permanent inter-ministerial working group on the market of grains and its by-products under the Ministry of Finance, with participation of representatives of various industry associations and businesses for operating solution of the current market situation and establishment system-based work.
