Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan sign cooperation agreements
Kuwait and Kyrgyzstan on Sunday signed a host of bilateral agreements and a MoU, covering various fields of cooperation.
The signing ceremony, at Bayan Palace, was attended by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, visiting Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
The first agreement on exemption of entry visas for holders of diplomatic, service and special passports, was signed by First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldeav.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled and Abdyldeav also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for bilateral consultations between the foreign ministries in both countries.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Acting Oil Minister Anas Khaled Al-Saleh and Abdyldeav signed an agreement between the governments of both countries to avoid double taxation and evasion of income and capital taxes.
The two ministers inked another agreement for encouragement and mutual protection of investments, and a third one for economic and technical cooperation.
Meanwhile, President of Kuwait’s Civil Aviation Fawaz Abdulazeez Al-Farah and the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldeav signed an agreement for air services cooperation. (Pick up previous) msa
