Volume of controlled transfer pricing deals in 2013 comes to UAH 1.142 trl – fiscal service
The total number of reports on controlled transfer pricing operations, received by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, as of October 1, 2014 exceeded 2,500.
The head of the department for transfer pricing inspections at the Fiscal Service, Mykola Mishin, said at the round table “Transfer pricing in Ukraine: problems and solutions” that out of the 2,500 reports on controlled transfer pricing operations submitted to the Fiscal Service most operations (62%) are related to the internal market, and the total volume of controlled operations, which companies reported on, amounted to UAH 1.143 trillion.
Operations were carried out with 5,067 counterparties, while 18% of reports (in quantitative terms) were those with foreign counterparties (about 2,100).
According to him, in monetary terms the foreign market has a leading position – such operations accounted for 62%, or UAH 717 billion of the total amount, while internal – 37.7%.
“The leader in the total volume of transactions is Switzerland, with whose counterparties domestic companies carried out operations worth UAH 103 billion (14.4%), Cyprus – UAH 85 billion (12%), France – UAH 82 billion (12%), Russia – UAH 28 billion (4%), and the United States – UAH 25 billion (3.5%). Germany ranks first in terms of active interaction with 346,000 operations,” he said.
