Transfer Pricing Leaders To Address Latest Trends At Bloomberg BNA-Baker McKenzie Global Conference In Paris March 30-31
ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Bloomberg BNA today announced that its Global Transfer Pricing Conference: Paris, held in conjunction with Baker & McKenzie and in association with the Tax Management Education Institute, will occur on March 30-31 immediately after the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Global Forum on Transfer Pricing. The third annual event brings together officials from the OECD and key OECD countries, along with leading transfer pricing experts, to offer some of the earliest clarification of the policies and proposals to emerge from the OECD Forum. The conference takes place at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand and registration is available here.
“This conference has been used by government and OECD officials as a platform to deliver important and detailed information about the direction of their transfer pricing policies and base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) project,” said Molly Moses, Transfer Pricing Editor for Bloomberg BNA Tax & Accounting. “With the OECD’s plan on BEPS more than halfway to completion, multinationals everywhere are beginning to pay serious attention to the standards laid out in the BEPS project, which is undeniably having an impact on how both governments and multinationals view transfer pricing.”
The conference offers the industry’s essential thinking and analysis and has become a must-attend event for the world’s leading multinationals to get the insights on the regulatory changes underway and the political and economic forces shaping them.
The conference will open with an address by Pascal Saint-Amans, Director of the OECD’s Centre for Tax Policy and Administration, and featured in the sessions are a United Nations tax official and representatives from developing countries that are the key drivers of the BEPS project. Speakers include:
Joseph L. Andrus, Former Head of Transfer Pricing Unit, OECD, Paris
Andrew Hickman, Head of Transfer Pricing Unit, OECD, Paris
Sandra Knaepen, Director of International Relations, General Administration of Taxes, Brussels
Michelle Levac, Transfer Pricing Specialist, Canada Revenue Agency, Chair of OECD Working Party No. 6, Ottawa, Canada
