Algeria, Great Britain Sign Non-Double Taxation Agreement
Algiers — Algeria and Great Britain signed Wednesday, at the headquarters of Foreign Affairs Ministry in Algiers, an agreement on non-double taxation and prevention of tax evasion relating to tax on income and capital.
This agreement, between the Algerian and British governments, is meant to encourage trading and investments between the two countries.
The signing ceremony was chaired by Foreign Affairs Minister Ramtane Lamamra and British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Philip Hammond who is on a visit to Algeria.
The signing of this agreement, which occurred on the occasion of the two-day visit to Algeria by the British Secretary of State , meets the two countries’ willingness to expand the political dialogue, strengthen and promote the political, economic and partnership relations.
