Azerbaijani banks trained on correct implementation of FATCA

Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan and Grant Thornton Company held a workshop on meeting the requirements of the FATCA U.S. federal law (The Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act).

According to CBA, the workshop was held for banks and addressed the basic principles and practical issues of meeting FACTA regulations. The Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Taxes and the Financial Monitoring Service provided additional clarifications.
