IN UKRAINE A NUMBER OF TAXES IS TOO HIGH – EXPERT
In Ukraine in some areas taxes are too high, and entrepreneurs simply can’t pay, so toughen system of tracking defaulters only after tax cuts.
Comments about this correspondent of ГолосUA said political analyst Nikolai Spiridonov.
“In Ukraine, a number of taxes too high. Businesses simply can’t pay. And is double taxation. In order to pay the minimum wage even there 4 or 3 thousand, have to pay and employer tax and the recipient of the salary. That is, in fact, in order for a person to give, net of taxes, for example, 3 thousand hryvnias, for this really need to spend 6 thousand hryvnia,” – said the analyst.
According to N. Spiridonova, respectively, it is necessary to do something to the current taxation allowed to conduct business.
“Because, if the entrepreneur will pay taxes as they should according to the law, then he has no choice but to close. If these problems will be solved, and taxation will be adequate, then you need more hard to track defaulters. Here again, the corruption component, when the company can pay off the inspectors. But in the Western world sometimes also have evasion, but you can actually go to jail, so these cases are not so frequent as in Ukraine. The inevitability of punishment for tax evasion will lead to the fact that after all will pay,” he said.
Recall that Ukraine annually loses up to 750 million euros in taxes through an existing scheme for tax evasion.
This is stated in the study of the faction Left and Nordic Green in the European Parliament, the results of which were published by German newspaper Spiegel Online. According to researchers, under a “scheme” includes iron ore, steel, agricultural products.
“Over the past three years (2015 to 2017) the export of iron ore from Ukraine was at least 20% undervalued,” the study says.
