Jordanian – Saudi talks on ending double taxation conclude

AMMONNEWS – Jordan and Saudi Arabia Wednesday concluded the fourth phase of discussions between the two countries to prevent double taxation and tax evasion.

During the meeting the two sides discussed the items that had not yet been discussed completely in the previous phases and reached a draft agreement to end double taxation and tax evasion.

Director General of Saudi Zakat and Income Tax Department Fahed Al Kharashi thanked the Jordanian side for their understanding of the ideas that were raised and discussed during the meeting.

Director General of the Income and Sales Tax Department, ISTD, Iyad Qudah, met Al Kharashi and praised the Saudi interest in signing an anti-double taxation deal to encourage investment flows and reduce tax burdens on investors.
